Proteins Australia Pty Ltd is a family-owned aquaculture production business based on the NSW South Coast. Located alongside the Afflick Abattoir — a family enterprise operating for more than 58 years — we are proud of our long-standing ties to the region and our reputation for quality and innovation.

Our facility specialises in processing fresh mackerel to produce fish meal and pharmaceutical-grade fish oil. These two premium outputs are recombined to create a nutrient-rich feedstock for aquaculture and animal feeds, while our fish oil also supports applications within the pharmaceutical industry. Originally established to process meat by-products from the abattoir, the business transitioned to fish processing in response to shifting market conditions. This evolution has ensured a more sustainable future while positioning us as a leader in high-performance aquaculture products.
